
About Liam Rice
Liam Rice is an experienced healthcare economist, learning facilitator, and leadership educator, focused on developing groups’ operational competencies through a holisitc, equity-informed lense. Rice has work in multiple industries, including healthcare and higher education. He is the founding Editor for NASPA’s “Journal of Technology & Higher Education: Emerging Practice,” a scholarly compendium exploring the impact and intersections of technology and higher education from social media to learning management systems. He is also previously the Region I Representative for the NASPA Technology Knowledge Community and has presented on higher education, social media, and identity development at multiple conferences (NASPA, Residential College Symposium).
Rice graduated from Northeastern University in Boston, MA in May 2019, where he completed a M.S. in College Student Development and Counseling. Rice also graduated from Bryant University in Smithfield, RI in 2017, with a B.S in Applied Economics and a B.A. in Literary and Cultural Studies, including a dual minor in Finance and Women, Gender, and Sexuality Studies. His passion lies in cultivating belonging and success through community-driven intentional research. He firmly believes any professional can (and should) foster a vibrant data-driven community.
